Advanced Liquid Logic, Inc.Advanced Liquid Logic, Inc.
Nanoliter Lab-on-a-chip
Advanced Liquid Logic develops microfluidic lab-on-a-chip devices for highly automated, rapid and portable liquid handlers for a diverse range of applications.

American Data Mining Equipment (ADME)™
ADME is developing a super high performance database server based on proprietary integrated circuit technology specifically designed for large volume data mining and data warehousing needs. These servers offer database search speeds of at least 500 times faster than any system available today, scalability with no observable degradation of performance, the lowest cost of ownership, and no requirement to use or learn new software.

HBio-gyali, Inc.
Preserving Proteins by Microglassification
Bio-gyali, Inc. has developed proprietary technology that gently removes water from solutions of biologicals, like antibodies, enzymes, and therapeutic proteins. The Microglassification process is carried out at room temperature and avoids exposure to extreme temperatures and harsh drying environments preserving efficacy and improving yield especially for the new and environment-sensitive molecules that are currently being developed in the pharmaceutical industry. Microbeads are now protected against degradation so stabilizing the biologicals for storage, transport, and inclusion in a variety of drug delivery formulations.

BioptigenBioptigen, Inc.
Optical Coherence Tomography for Small Animal Imaging and Developmental Biology
Bioptigen is leading the development of Optical Coherence Tomography (OCT) based imaging for preclinical developmental biology markets. Bioptigen OCT is designed for whole-body imaging of embryonic and small animal models, tissue level imaging in large biological structures and non-invasive optical biopsy.

Bioptigen technology introduces OCT imaging systems with the greatest image clarity, maximum resolution, and highest throughput to increase the efficacy of the small animal validation phase in drug development and genomics research.

DATAbased Design & Decisions, Inc.DATAbased Design & Decisions, Inc.
DATAbased Design & Decisions’ product is a Data Integration and Business Intelligence reporting software toolkit. It integrates data across the enterprise in real-time, regardless of database type, platform, or system, and then provides on-demand querying and reporting via a simple web-based point and click interface. Executive decision-makers can query all company data via a secure internet connection anytime and anywhere. Advanced analytic capabilities are also supported.

Advanced Liquid Logic, Inc.Helical Sciences
Helical Sciences is developing pathogen testing products and services to help end E.coli, salmonella, and other contaminant problems in food, water, and pharmaceuticals. Helical has unique IP that allows it to economically deliver contaminant test results in under four hours compared to the industry norm of four days or longer. This technology is proven effective for identifying and quantifying the presence of contaminants with almost no false positive or false negative results – a huge benefit for public health. The company is entering the customer testing phase with its E.coli test.

ImagineOptixImagineOptix
ImagineOptix
ImagineOptix is using revolutionary projection display technology to change the way people think about and use mobile content. Our innovative microdisplays combine the advantages of being very low cost and very highly light efficient (which translates to long battery life). The combination of these advantages makes this technology ideally suited for the emerging personal projection device market. Through the use of innovative techniques applied with standard Liquid Crystal on Silicon manufacturing processes, these imagers can be incorporated into handheld personal projectors, used to cost reduce conventional projector products and also embedded into system-on-a-chip solutions.

MBrightMBright, Inc.™
Digital Display Technology
MBright specializes in the design and development of technologies and production-ready solutions for the next-generation digital display technology. MBright seeks to design and develop a wide range of distinctive, high-quality display devices for operational control and information display functions.

Combining unique pixel and driver circuit design, imaging expertise and superior IP, MBright has developed an innovative third-generation liquid crystal on silicon (LCoS) digital projection light engine. This engine contains an enhanced brightness and high contrast ratio at a fraction of the cost of a contemporary light engine.

OncoscopeOncoscope
Oncoscope
Oncoscope is developing a cost-effective optical biopsy system that enables fast and accurate diagnosis of invisible pre-cancerous cells in epithelial tissue. This includes oral cavity, esophagus, colon, respiratory tract, skin and cervix. Traditional evaluation of the health of epithelial tissues can require systematic tissue removal with subsequent examination by a skilled pathologist. Oncoscope’s technology greatly improves the screening and surveillance of these tissues, providing high resolution and accurate in vivo measurements to identify questionable nuclear morphology without the need for random biopsies. The true advantage is that tissue health is determined in real time, a fraction of the time needed for histopathological evaluation.

VizorTechVizortech, Inc.™
VizorTech Inc.
VizorTech Inc. provides consumers with a liquid crystal on silicon (LCOS) micro-display technology platform solution for Head Mount Display systems that features better image quality, lower power consumption, lower cost and a more user-friendly interface. Currently, small viewing devices make it difficult for the consumer to view the images on the screen. The VizorTech head mount display system can be connected to iPods, DVD players, mobile TVs, and computers to display significantly magnified 2D and 3D images with the convenience of consumer portability.
